We are delighted to welcome Gbenga Dehemin to our lab.  Gbenga did his undergraduate work at the University of Lagos (Marine Sciences; 2018) and then worked as a biology teacher, science tutor, and graphic designer.   Gbenga will arrive in the US in July and head out to Sapelo Island to do an internship with the Georgia Coastal Ecosystem LTER program before returning to the Athens campus in August.  In his application, Gbenga noted that "Nothing interests me more than the idea of instigating change around me".  We are looking forward to seeing what he accomplishes and to having him as a member of our lab!
